Why does the cost of permanent makeup vary?

The cost of permanent makeup is made up primarily of four things:

Materials-Single use disposable needles and supplies means the highest hygienic standards are being adhered to in order to prevent possible infection. Reusing needles, even if cleaned, to reduce cost is an unsafe practice.
Pigments-Less expensive ink used for bodily tattoos is not recommended for the use in permanent cosmetics. The highest quality, hypoallergenic and MRI safe pigments cost more, but are completely safe for use on the face.
Clinical Environment-Applying permanent cosmetics in a home or multi-purpose environment such as a nail salon, beauty parlor or spa, may increase the risk of infection. Also, an establishment that offers many services does not specialize in permanent makeup. The Permanent Cosmetic Clinic was designed for the sole purpose of applying permanent makeup. It is our specialty!
Experienced Professional Technician-“You get what you pay for” holds true in most things including permanent makeup. The price may vary slightly, but for superior permanent makeup applied by a qualified, experienced permanent makeup specialist, you should expect to pay at least $400.00- $600.00 for each new procedure.

Why is it so important to have Permanent Cosmetics applied in a clinical environment?

During a permanent cosmetic procedure, the skin is penetrated leaving the client vulnerable to infection. Salons and Spas offer a variety of services from artificial nails, to different hair treatments, waxing, facials and even spray tanning. All these services stimulate chemicals and dust that may enter into the open skin and cause infection.

What is the worst thing that could happen?

A client may possibly get an infection or be dissatisfied with the end results. At the Permanent Cosmetic Clinic all necessary precautions are taken to avoid infection. The eyebrows and lips are drawn on each client’s face before the permanent procedure begins. The permanent makeup specialist will give the client her expertise advice, but ultimately, the client makes the final decision. At the Permanent Cosmetic Clinic, we are certain you will be pleased with your final results!
